The role of the installation liaison is primarily to inform other service members and their families about Transport for Troops.

Other responsibilities include:
Setting up fundraisers and requesting aid from available installation resources
Organizing groups of families on orders to the same duty station to simplify POV shipment allocations
Recruiting other liaisons to assist in all efforts on base and in the surrounding military community
Representing Transport for Troops to installation commands and their families
